The flakes of eider, a wild duck that lives mainly in Iceland, are brown and particularly fluffy, with the unique characteristic of having a very strong cohesion between them. This peculiarity allows the garments padded with this material to withstand the strongest winds. The eider flake is exclusively of wild origin. It is collected when the females of eider, after hatching and weaning the young, abandon the nests, made with the softest flakes of their underchest to protect and eggs. The collection of this precious material is limited and varies every year so the products stuffed with this bow are numerically contained.
