The “Authentic Denim” capsule collection was born from the meeting between Moreno Faccincani and pattern designer Alessio Berto, resulting in a selection of items that tell and pay homage to the most interesting details and representative lines of American Denim from the 1950s.
The basis of this capsule is the commitment and desire to create the items as authentically and faithfully to the original as possible. In fact, they were made with a specially created slubbed fabric using only the original looms of the time, to be even more faithful to the original production of those times.
Authentic and timeless fits that recall the golden years' constructions, details, and finishes, the garments are indeed kept in their total purity, without any washing. Nothing is left to chance, but is the result of tireless research, almost maniac, and the study of details, made possible also thanks to the designer Berto’s archive, known for his experience and sensitivity in the denim world.
Each piece is infused with authenticity, from the carefully selected yarns to the exclusive accessories crafted by YKK for Moorer. The collection transcends seasons, presenting garments in their purest form, rigid and unwashed, to honor the true essence of denim craftsmanship.
From the rugged Cowboy jean to the feminine charm of Marilyn Monroe-inspired 5-pocket designs, each garment tells a story of classic Americana and timeless style. The collection also nods to the heroes of the Beat Generation, with model names echoing their spirit of rebellion and creativity.
All this has given life to a collection as true to life as possible, paying particular attention to every characteristic and detail such as the colors of the yarn, the tension of the rods, even the stitching points and finishes. Unmissable accessories produced with the original method, such as buttons, zippers, customized pulls, and suspender hooks with an unmistakable authentic flavor.
Crafted from premium materials like Kuroki selvage denim from Japan and Chambray from Kowa, this collection embodies the dedication of both MooRER and Alessio Berto to creating garments of unparalleled quality and authenticity.
"We always try to surpass limits and push ourselves to the maximum, we enjoy experimenting with sophisticated materials and techniques, in a constant search for progress. This collaboration, thanks to its uniqueness, represents a stimulating creative push in full MooRER style for us."
